Buying Local Products
This year there seemed to be an abundance of red onions. Especially in my hometown of Miagao. The farmers are having a hard time selling because most places have them.
Some send to the city and other places but still there are a lot.

So they resorted to the social media. They are selling for 30 pesos per kilo and selling at a minimum of 5 kilos.
So I bought 5 kilos, gave 1 kilo to my cousin a priest, 1 kilo to my friend a caterer and 1/2 kilo to my son-in-law’s family. The rest I saved, we cook often with onions and I like onions. I wish there was garlic too but not much plant them.
Since I was one of the first who ordered they gave me a little more than 5 kilos and they also added 1.5 kilos of white onions. This is just a picture of some of the ones I bought. They look pretty good and not too small.
So in support of the local farmers I will buy from them. They posted organic purple sweet corn so again I ordered and they will deliver tomorrow 3 kilos for 100 pesos so I ordered 6 kilos, might add if it is good. Newly harvested too will post it tomorrow.
So support your locally grown produce!
