Mangoes In Season
It is about this time of the year sweet juicy mangoes are in season. Well not all are sweet but still juicy. The Guimaras mangoes boasts to be the sweetest. But the mangoes are a bit expensive as of now, maybe later will be cheaper.
But I saw on Facebook a friend selling Guimaras mangoes at 90 pesos per kilo. Some are selling at 100 and not even from Guimaras. So I bought 2 kilos.
They were kind of big so 7 for 2 kilos, usually 4 for 1 kilo regular size. So they are not yet fully ripe but beginning to smell good. Hopefully by tomorrow they will be ripe to eat on Mother’s Day,
By next week there will be more mangoes being sold and I am waiting for the locally grown ones. They are sweet too! But have to be careful of my sugar, hehe.
