This Saturday!

It's a long weekend here! Actually last week, we discussed spending the whole weekend at home, but later Harith reminded me of some work that we had to do. So we went to Ambalangoda.

First of all, we went to vision care to purchase a new bottle of contact lens solution. As I mentioned in my early article, the contact lens needs to be stored in a special solution. This solution needs to be changed once every three days after cleaning the lens. As my first bottle is now almost over, I had to purchase a new one. The new bottle was 120 ml and cost me 1400 LK.

After that, we went to some other worlds until 12 p.m. Harith proposed he wants some junk food to eat. First we wanted to try of New Remakvin Restaurant called Skyvin.

This restaurant started recently and looks very elegant. Unfortunately, they were closed today due to a function. So we thought to go to new monello pizza.

Their new cafe is located near the main road. The new place has an open kitchen and seating space for about 20 at a time. It was a bit crowded when we are there.

Their yellow and black color theme is preserved here in the new restaurant too. Also, they used traditional elements to enhance the beauty of the interior.

We ordered crispy chicken pizza for dine-in and a deviled chicken pizza to take away. Also a chicken and cheese pasta as usual. Actually, we were full after having the pasta and two slices of pizza. We took a virgin mojito as well. It hadn't the best spirit but it is not bad. We asked to make our food bit spicy so they had made them spicy.

Compared to Domino's and Pizza Hut, Monello pizza is really worth it because they use enough toppings and also spices to make the pizza fits Sri Lankan style.

Finally, we had a good second visit to Monello Pizza. Hope we can reach Skyvin Restaurant next time.
