What's up?

In my home, my wife cooks the everyday meal. Sometimes i used to prepare some snacks for us. I am more conscious about healthy food. We always avoid junk food. Nowadays preparing healthy food became a tough job. We just eat what is available in the market. The ultimate solution for this, grow your food in your home. Or just get aware of where your food comes from.

We decided to grow our food in our home. That's one of the easiest ways to live healthier. Today i am going to write about the food which i made using the ingredient which grows in my house.
Let's get into the kitchen🍜.

Today i am going to prepare a Microgreens Omelet. For this recipe, I am going to use mustard microgreens.

I started growing the mustard microgreens on the 27th of October. I harvested the microgreens today. After that i washed it cleanly, then i planned to make an omelet with this. These microgreens are rich in nutrients. When you consume it rawly, you will get the full benefits of microgreens. But today i am going to cook it with egg.


Nutrition
Mustard greens contain many health-boosting antioxidants like beta carotene, which can protect your skin and lower risk factors of diabetes. The greens are also a great source of several B vitamins, including thiamine (B1,) niacin (B3,) and pyridoxine B6. source

In a glass I broke the egg and poured it, then i added sliced onion, tomato, pepper powder, and a pinch of salt to taste. I mixed well-using spoon. In the pan i poured some oil, then i added the egg mixture to it. Then on top of that, i added the chopped Mustard Microgreens on it. I cooked the omelet with a low flame. After a couple of minutes, now the omelet is ready to be served. The colorful nutritional egg omelet is ready.

Nutrients per Serving
One cup of raw mustard greens contains:
Calories: 33
Protein: 3 grams
Fat: 0 grams
Carbohydrates: 6 grams
Fiber: 4 grams
Sugar: 0 grams source

Then i transferred it to a serving plate, i sliced it like pizza and gave it to my son. He really enjoyed the omelet.
