Just for you @movingman. :-)

As it is day of the dead here and a bank holiday, we decided on a trip to Lublin after the good lady took me to a cemetery. I have never seen so many people inside them places in my life, thousand and thousands o people around graves lighting candles all day long. Anyway we went to Lublin after, and that church was the first thing I saw right next to where we parked. It was built in 1640.

The fascination with the sun gods is also evident again.

Next up is the high street and all the restaurants, bars, shops, banks etc.

This part of town is considered newer than the part called old town, which will be below. As a lot of this was blown up/bombed during the second world war. Some of the buildings are from 1790 to 1800.

This next photo is interesting to me at least.

On the left is a church, and on the right a Egyptian style needle, that Freemasons love so much, the Freemason theme does not end there. Note the needle is on the right, and the church on the left. On the front of the church is a all seeing eye and Pyramid, another Freemason obsession.

It amazes me nobody sees these things.

Closer up you say? Okay.

Pretty quiet here today, due to most places being closed.

Heading back down the high st to old town.

That is the entrance below to old town and the two market squares.

The busker was talented also.

The eastern block is often portrayed as broke.

In money terms, sure the wages are low, though so are the prices to buy things, there is no shortage of any thing you really need here.

Every July there is a international high wire walk laid on.

People come from all over the world to join in, so in commemoration of that is the statue/bronze statue high wire walker below.

We were going for lunch to this Irish bar.

Though it was closed, so we went to a different one instead.

We ended up at this Irish bar, that is gorgeous inside, and has 3 floors, all equally as nice, the food and beer were excellent too.

Below is a view of the local castle from old town.

I will add a few more pics below it with no commentary.

Below is a superb 5 star hotel and spa.

They leave you roses and petals, the food is top class, and the service second to none.

I will leave a few more photos before I check out.

I hope you enjoyed the views.

That last building that is empty is yet another Jewish owned one, the owners upped and left without selling it on. So there it sits till it falls down, such a shame as it is huge inside.

It is holiday time here, so that's me spending time with family, hope you all had a great day too, @shepz1 out!

Enjoyed the pics, thanks for sharing.

More than welcome.

Wow - awesome photos, I've never really seen much of Poland.

And I had no idea 38 million people lived there - you got me checking!

The 38 million is as you say "live here" as I do believe there are over 1 million in the UK, and oh so many other countries, a bit like us brits abroad.

They replace us a cheap labor, as we take flight to get away from the nanny state. :-)

Glad it took sirs interest all the same.

Australia which is bigger than America, has 22 million.
And NZ which is similar to the UK or Japan in area only has 4.5 million.
But there is an extra 1 million Kiwis living in Aus for some reason... (it's as hot as hell if you like that sort of thing)
That's not for the hand outs - the Aus gov hates Kiwis and hands out a big zero!
Meanwhile Aussies living in NZ get full citizenship after five years because we are good cunts (or gullible idiots)
Thankfully bugger all Aussies move here becuse it's too cold for them at about 15-20 deg C all year round :)

Lots of Aussies in London also, due to getting 6 month visas easily.

One thing we can say about Aussies is that they are not afraid to say no to illegal immigrants - they put the poor bastards in concentration camps on remote islands!

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2016/jul/25/ferrovial-staff-risk-prosecution-for-managing-australian-detention-camps

Same happens in the UK fuck me I could do a post on this in itself, they have to pay to get into the UK inside trucks, when found (patsies) the UK put them here :-) and then they charge the drivers a fine of £25,000 it is a racket you see, like all governments, the UK is corrupt to the core

Thanks for the grand tour about Lublin it is very interesting to see these parts of Poland. Have a great night :)

Thanks my friend, glad you liked it. You have a superb night also.

Man! Looks like your having great relaxing time there and thankyou for those snaps, I really haven't ever seen anything of Poland and well, or course my imagination was also tainted by lies in regarding..

The eastern block is often portrayed as broke.

Just proves how conditioned were are even without knowing it! Looks nice there mate, reminds me an awful lot of Luneburg, a town I stayed near/in on and of for some years.. Are there many punkys and alternative freaks already there?! I cant believe the empty places! Always good to see a busker in town also, he got the good spot with tunnel acoustics :)

Its euro there right? hey I came to find you re brummie post and see it , and I saw this!..

I'm Horehound! (this is the only spell check offered for honoured- But its fucking cool so its staying, I spell it correctly tho I'm sure!!
Nice you took the time and many great photos.. man I was really shocked about the eye, that's like not even hidden hahahhaa, like a print from the US dollar bill :)

Enojy the holiday mate, the weather looks great for it!

I had this notion it was always covered in snow, poor and like a third world country and cold.
All of that came from Brit TV, it was all lies, and is 22c here today in November, warmer than the UK.

It is the Zloty here re currency, they refused the Euro and hate the EU.

Not many punks or alternatives to speak of to be fair.

A few earthly types though, you know almost hippies though with dreads, though still few and far between.

thankyou for those snaps

I never fail to deliver on a promise. :-)

A few earthly types though, you know almost hippies though with dreads,

I guess its attracting all the I dont know, yeh, like older hippys you mean? The ones who most likely have stinking rich familys and money in the bank, but buy hippy clothes from designer shops and go to india for the "experience" hhahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahaha

I guess, and i didnt veen look on a map where this place is, but im guessing close to the german border are more freaks cos they can go earn more money in DE and live cheap or even free in poland :) This happened in east germany, everyone left to go to the west, and you get farms for cheap.. a group even brought a trainstattion that still functioning, and have live concerts there etc lol

It is over the other side of the country Lublin, only 70 kms from Beleraus or Ukraine.

NOOOO none of them here, they are all in Thailand lol.

Looks cool what country is this? I thought you lived in Thailand lol I could be mistaken..

I used to, though in Poland for the last 5 years, after I left Spain.

Closer up you say? Okay.

Man, I got to stop hanging out with you, your beginning to read my mind. A lot of nice pics, one of my life long wishes has always been to go see a real castle...though that one in particular probably wouldn't be my pick if I had just one pick but none the less have always had a thing for castles. Here in the US that's all the rage now, building buildings stuck
together with different facades on them, packing in as many people in one small area as possible....though theirs are quite simplistic and lack the artistry seen with European models of the past. Someone even building a castle here, it's not quite completed yet, or has it's occupancy permit I should say, it's going to be called the Castle Apartments, it's going to have over five hundred units....bad as I'd love to live in a castle living there with five hundred other families/others just doesn't do it for me...I like my space.

I like my space also, so much so I have a farm in the middle of nowhere. :-)

Do you get the link between Freemasonry on Catholicism yet? It is blatant an obvious here.

Yeah that was rather ironic.
