A 2020 Goal: A Tube of One of My Favorite Silver Rounds
I ๐ L-O-V-E ๐ the Engelhard American Prospector Silver Rounds.
I bet you have them in your stack like me!
The Engelhard American Prospector silver rounds are popular!
They certainly are becoming less and less affordable for me.
The American Prospector Silver Rounds
These silver rounds were minted for a brief 5 year period by Engelhard from 1982 to 1987.
When it comes to silver art round designs... I go for Lady Liberty especially SOL, buffalos, eagles, Native American, the American Prospector, or anything that is iconic Americana. Boring to some, but these are my personal choices.
Last year 2019, I completed a couple of tubes of generic and vintage silver rounds in various designs.
So what's next๐ค?
It is...ON TO THE NEXT TUBE, and keep on saving!
Another goal for year 2020: I shall complete another tube of The American Prospector Engelhard Silver Rounds!

Me too... I have several of the Engelhard Prospectorsbecause I get them when I come across them at a reasonable price. This year I want to save a tube of them. They are higher priced than other generic vintage silver, and I think that is the reason why I never really considered them for my stack.

Engelhard silver rounds in Canada tend to have much higher premium than I'd like. So I'm still stuck at one 1984 round since I got it from @torch66 with a special display case.

It is the same here in the US, sis. None of the current Engelhard American Prospector rounds that I currently posses were acquired with premiums higher than the ASE, and all were acquired from the secondary market. I decided to include a tube of this silver round in my 2020 goal primarily to find out if I can fill a tube of these silver rounds within the threshold premiums I am willing to pay. I bet you it will be a challenge!

Yeah... help me keep me focused on this goal, and be sure to be on the look out for the American Prospectors for me! I already have the first two that will go into the 2020 tube. And I am very excited to add to them. I can already visualize completing a quarter of a tube before the end of three months!!!

Very impressive dudette. I only just recently got my first prospector, courtesy of @silverd510. I've always liked them, and after holding one I definitely can see the attraction.
I got my first one the third month I started stacking. I thought that would be my first and last, dude... but I couldn't resist getting them every time I came across one. Hopefully, I will be able to fill up a tube this year. Come along with me in this endeavor, because I will always need encouragement from friends.

I know.... the American Prospector is so iconic, specifically of the Gold Rush. This design was inspired by the California Commemorative Half Dollar of 1925. It is my favorite half dollar commemorative coin.
