WATCH ME BATTLE USING WATER SPLINTER - Mana 99! My Splinterlands Journey #5
Hello again!
Just a quick post to share one of my Splinterland battles with you!
This article is also my entry to the SHARE YOUR BATTLE (weekly) CHALLENGE hosted by @steemmonsters, which can read more about HERE.
I also hope to encourage novice and beginner players like myself to join in on the fun that many fans of Splinterlands enjoy.
Just watch what fun it is to win a battle in a basic rule set using even low-level cards, like what I have here!
In this battle, my opponent was a higher rated player. ALL the cards deployed by my opponent were gold cards.
Rule set: TAKING SIDES, Neutral Monsters may not be used in battles.
Mana: 99

I am a beginner player at Splinterlands. I learn and understand how the cards behave and perform in battles by watching all my battles from start to finish.

The Water Splinter is the team I use the most because those are the only cards leveled up to 3. What is your favorite team, @tbnfl4sun?

Your placement is very good for your team. Especially with the 99 mana cap. I think, when you have the mana to spend, putting a tank in the back can help absorb some sniper hits. Didn't really happen this time as that Sea Monster is a BADASS tank (pretty much at most levels).
And yes! Playing in the lower levels is just as fun!

WOW... I never thought of putting a tank in the back... that is a very useful and excellent tip!!! In many of my battles, the back card always gets killed first! My favorite tanks in this Splinter are the Spinback Turtle and this Sea Monster. And when Neutral Monsters may be used, [not available in this rule set] I like the Goblin Teck and Prismic Energy.
