Wednesday Walk: Looking Up to the Skies
Today's Wednesday Walk by @tattoodjay is in collaboration with the [Make Me Smile] hosted by @elizacheng.
It is this single cloud formation right above my house that gave me the idea for this post.
I took this photo of the clouds from the dead end of an unfinished street. These puffy white or light gray clouds that look like floating cotton balls are cumulus clouds.
These cumulus clouds were so low, it felt like that I can just reach up and touch the clouds.
Can you tell what time of day it is by the position of the sun in this photo?
My last photo is of the cloud formation over a cleared field. These clouds are the highest clouds in the atmosphere, and they are called cirrustratus.
In preparing this article, I had to re-learned the names of the diffirent cloud formations because I had forgotten them through the years!

Aren't they looking so fluffy. But then, if you are in an airplane, going through those clouds can be very bumpy.... not soft after all, hehehe!

Beautiful sky with copitod of snow, it is always a delight to enjoy photos like these, my favorite is the last one.
SNOW!!! WOW... what an awesome way to describe the clouds, @truelovemom! I now have an added perspective, when I look up and see cumulus clouds. Thank you! I don't see much snow... I have to go up to Lake Tahoe during the Winter to experience it.
