Introducing the Trash Film Studio Soffocazzo Productions

Hi Folks, this is the first entry and the introduction page of Soffocazzo. We are a Two Men Army of so called "visual artists" who will bring some news, storries and updates about our current and previous work to an interessted crowd from now on. Let´s introduce ourself:

 

Soffocazzo Productions (www.soffocazzo.com) is a film studio for dystopian dreams and visions, that previous work basically is a collection of selfmade short films and music videos based in the heart of Berlin/Germany. We are a small bunch of trash film enthusiasts that where hunted by their compulsion making sick ideas reality somehow. Everything started with a trashy short film named "Teratrom" inspired - you will notice - by Troma´s very own combination of bad storries, worse production and the worst actors you´ll ever watch. This happend in 2012 and since than some music videos and short films followed. In autuum 2014 we started working on a trailer video for an upcoming punk/hc sampler of some Berlin bands what sadly failed though on the other hand it was the beginning of something much bigger: Oxytocin. 

It´s been five years that we started and since then we spent a lot of our time in the studio creating a whole miniature world as backdrop for a short animation film that later shall become a series - when everything is working well. Basically the Soffocazzo blog on Steemit will cover the progress within the Oxytocin project. 

Previous Projects

The production of music videos started during the filming of Teratrom. Berlins finest Jehacket had a guest appearance and with additional material a clip was made for their single "Brutal Utta Utta Grind". Because of the impressive style and cuts it doesn´t take long for the next missions: Berlins own Reactory hired Soffocazzo for producing some of their outputs including the warhymn "Shell Shock". This video represents at best the fast and unorthodox style, technique and motivation of Soffocazzo Productions as well as their gusto for splatter effects. The bloodbath continued with "Oops!... I killed again! a music video for Metal veterans Postmortem. Soffocazzos faible for Zombies is reflected in a short commercial for a bow sport club called "Bow Hunter Challenge". If you watched some of the videos you will recongnise that the guys got a preference for killings, war, dark creatures, blood and gore, fast music - and a lot of love. 

Future

If we ever finish the short film Oxytocin (Chapter Zero) we want to start using our experiences for the original idea of making a whole series with short episodes. It will be about a band who´s trying to make a living in a post apocalyptic world after the events of Chapter Zero. For that we will utilize the same technique as we did for the short film.

Generally it would be a great pleasure for us to produce different projects like music videos, commercials, ect. within this miniature style. The backdrop is relativ cheap in manufacturing and you´re allowed implement ideas (crashing cars and aeroplans, explosions, firing canons, etc.) in a stunning realistic way which would be impossible to manage in real world scale if you´ve got just a small budget.
