The state of play so far…
Welp, that's all the December videos on Twitch exported to YouTube... I may as well do January's ones as well, seeing as there were only 2 of them that month!
I definitely need to try to make sure I keep to my proper schedule from next month, as given I have a whole heap of business admin to do this month, in addition to starting my A+ & Network+ courses, I'm going to be a bit more pressed for time, so even though I'll be returning to my full schedule next week, there will be no overflow past 20 minutes with any of the streams, compared to how I might have been before!
As for SIGIL, I will stream that on the earliest possible Friday slot (whenever it's released), and then I'll finish off the Classic Doom stuff (for now) with Doom II: No Rest For The Living and Doom II: The Master Levels which should hopefully lead us into Ion Maiden's release! Granted, I said I wanted to keep away from FPS games for a while after finishing Doom 1 & 2, but I'm at least getting away from Doom, and it gives me the chance to also try out a new game upon release!
I will note however that I might split up at some point around the 2 Doom II segments to slot in SIGIL, although I am aware that I have the 2 Romero levels to complete yet, which means that I have to redo the first episode of Doom, but in theory, I should be able to do that a bit faster this time, as apart from those 2 maps, everything else is familiar ground; I'm redoing the first episode purely because there's carryover to and from the new maps, and I need the extra ammo to be able to deal with whatever gets thrown at me!
Other than that, we have a new Phoenix Point Backer Build (number 4) coming out, which I will be streaming when it comes out in March; I have enough time now to sort out OBS in Windows so everything is set up with parity like it is in Linux, seeing as the Linux version of the game has had development stopped upon it (at least until release). Unfortunate, but I'm still in a position to play it. On that note, I'm seriously considering rolling out my puzzle and strategy stream on Tuesday evenings, bringing Tactical Tuesdays into the mix from March, as I tend to work better in evenings, and also I'd have during the day to myself to do stuff!
As for Pickups & Thrifts, I may need to delay the video for 2018 by another few weeks or so, although I have (as of the start of this month, February) started to gather up stuff for the next video in the series; even if it means that I have to split the 2018 video into 2-3 parts, I will get it done! Therefore, this will be the first video in the series (and under the initial format), and the 2018 video will be a special of sorts. In some respects, this at least reduces the stress of having less time to list out all the items I'd want to show as some sort of pickups, as for 2018, I'll be approaching a "when it's done" approach, as it's going to be larger than any regular episodes will be, due to the sheer amount of months I'll be covering; rest assured that it will eventually be seeing the light of day, though I do need to do a quick survey of my purchases to see what I bought and when in order to better work out how many splits are needed, especially as there have been longish periods where I didn't get anything at all!
In any case, I do have a clearer plan moving forward, both with regards to my stuff, and also Stormhaven Media, though I'll probably need the majority of this year to get things running smoothly. Either way, once I've made some headway, some other bits will slot into place a bit better than they do now, meaning that less needs to be done by me, and I can have a better system in place or will be able to get additional help with doing stuff; it's still very much a good situation to be in, whichever direction it ultimately goes in !
That's it from me for now, although I will be trying to extend my social media reach to a couple of new platforms; one being VK, and the other being MeWe, as I have pages on both those platforms, and I believe that it's time to roll out stuff onto there to increase the potential audience that sees what I'm up to, which should hopefully mean more eyes on the Geeked Up Network as a whole, as well as also UberFate, as I want to try to get him to 50 followers ASAP; I just need an overall strategy to work with though regards to all of that, although it's coming!
I'll catch you all on Monday for Played Up's Multiplayer Monday session, although I'm about 2 weeks behind with that, so I'm going to have to do some grinding before the stream starts!
