Milford Green

Just managed to hit my 5K weekend goal today, and most of the walking was around stores and not worth sharing photos of, however, I did have a walk up and down the green and snapped a few shots

Starting with this Memorial Bell on the green.

Early Industries including shipbuilding, Oystering, seed growing, and the manufacturer of carriages, boots shoes, straw hats, and brass and bronze fabrications.
Noted earlier residents included Connecticut Governers Robert Treat, Jonathon Law, and Charles Hobby Pond. colonial Lawyer Jared Inersoth, revolutionary leaders Charles Pond and Jehiel Bryan, explorer Peter Pond, and inventors George W Coy, Frank J Spencer, and Simon Lake.

It really is, we were lucky to drive into it by Chance and fell in Love with it and moved here very soon after and I still love it

I always find gravestones fascinating, wondering what stories could be told about the people who've been laid to rest there. Lovely photography @tattoodjay!

yes its the same for me when I do happen to pass through a cemetery I always look at the gravestones especially the older ones and wonder the stories of the people laid to rest there
