My Actifit Report Card: July 6 2019
A walk around downtown in the morning and found a new Mural
Good evening everyone, I am sharing a few shots taken today with my iPhone for my Actifit post, this morning was another foggy one and quite overcast so I took a break from the beaches and took a walk downtown, starting at one of my favorite spots the Duck Pond and a shot of the falls

I was thinking of doing some long exposures of the falls, but my lens kept fogging up and had some grime on it, teach me to be slack and not clean all my camera gear and lenses for the last couple of weekends, but I did get my act together today and gave them all a good clean,
This next shot is looking the other way from the falls, this bridge is the Jefferson bridge, a plaque on the bridge states

I then walked some more downtown and came across this new Mural which must have been done in the last week or two as it wasn't there the last time I walked this way which wI do quite often, I think it is a really cool mural and I wonder if the guy in the Mural is Jake from Jakes Diggity Dogs hot dogs place which is in this buildings

I then walked along the side of the green past this church the Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church

I walked the length of the green on One side and back the other, I think our green is the third Longest Gren in Ct, on the way back I walked by this grand looking building which is actually a Funeral Home

And I finished of my Walk back at the Duck Pond where my Car was parked, and couldnt resit a shot of the City hall with the reflection on the pond

And that ends my Main walk of the day, but that counts for only 7K of my steps the rest was done with a little shopping but mostly with me being motivated after my walk to clean my Camera gear, and then being in a cleaning mood and giving our house a good clean which was overdue

Sweet shots @tattoodjay, especially the duck pond. It always brings a smile, especially when the ducks are around. That mural looks like quite a job, was it painted or is it a latex covering. I've seen both, both can look like they were painted. You have a lovely town, quaint and so clean :)
I do love our town, its well worth the long commute to live here, I passed by the Mural today and spoke to the owner of the Hot Dog place, the mural was painted in 15 Hours which is amazing I think

Really wonderful pictures of your hometown. One day before too long I am going to go back down to 'old Yuma' and take another round of photos. It's no where near as scenic as Milford but...
One thing: Old Main is over 100 feet wide. It was built so the mule skinners could turn their teams around right in the street.
Ugggghhh. Cleaning day. I really need to attend to that chore, also. I'm not very fond....

Love to be near a waterfall. Something funly magic about them.
The ivy covered bridge is especially nice.
I am lucky to live in a place with so many cool places including the Duck Pond and waterfall, and I love that old bridge its not that special but from the side like in this post it is a cool old bridge ;)

Are you certain that mural is Jake? It looks a lot like Austin Powers, "Yahhhh Baby!"
I must have still been half asleep when I saw it or did the post, I was there again today and it is clearly Austin Powers ;)
I did meet the owner today and he looks nothing like that, and he also told me this whole mural was done in 15 hours thats pretty impressive
