An Early Start

For this evenings acifit post I share some photos taken with my iPhone this morning on a walk at Walnut Beach, I knew today was going to hit heatwave temperatures so decided to get as much of my steps in as I could before it heated up and thats what I did with getting tot he beach at 5 Am and walking till 7, by then it was about 85F with 95% humidity.

I think I learned today that if I am going to the beach at this time don't le run the AC running in the car as I drive there, the camera lens kept fogging up early on so I did not get many shots but I did get my 10K steps in well before 10 AM which means I can use the Automaticwin tag and will include a screenshot of my 10017 Steps at 8:44 this morning, as you will note from the total steps, I didn't do many more during the day, partially because I was staying indoors and cool and partly because I left my phone sitting on my Computer table most of the day

When I got to the beach there was a nice glow in the sky as this first shot shows, no one out playing beach volleyball at this stage of the day

I walked out on the pier for this next shot enjoying the cool breeze and the nice warm skies, thats when I got out my Sony and discovered the lens was fogging up, I was going to do some long exposures from this viewpoint, but that wasn't meant to be, so I focused instead on getting some steps along the beach

And walking along the boardwalk, not long after this shot more people started arriving and the boardwalk started to get active with the morning walkers and runners.

I have noticed this tent on the beach a couple of times on morning walks at the beach, this morning there were a few guys by it enjoying the early morning, by the time I was about to end my walking I noticed that the tent was already taken down, and it looked like they were packing everything up, I do wonder if they need a permit to camp there or set up late at night and pack up early morning.

Often I see this rock cairns alongside the boardwalk, but seldom see anyone actually building them, this morning I saw this guy in action working on one, must take a lot of patience to build these.

And here is what I thought was his finished Rock Art, but I could be wrong, I saw him again as I was further on the beach, I saw him walking back tot hat spot and checking out rocks on the beach, so perhaps he did add some more to it

And one last shot along the boardwalk as I am heading back tot he car park and my car, was a greta start to the car but i was soaked in sweat by the end of the walk
