Alice in Wonderland

For this post I will share some shots of the Bronze Sculpture in Central park Alice in Wonderland

This sculpture is located near to the conservatory water feature at East 74th Street, and stands 11 Feet tall, and was constructed in 1959

Now maybe my favorite character in the sculpture, the Mad hatter, for a while when I was on sites that needed a profile photo I used a shot of the Mad Hatter from this sculpture

Now the White Rabbit, who I think of and the line I'm Late I'm late for a very important date the odd time I am ever running late for something, which does not happen to often I am the kind of person that if I have to be at something by say, 10AM I will be there 15 minutes early, but it does come to mind also when others are late, some are not like me and take a set time for a meeting as the time they should start heading to it even if in another building.

So out of curiosity when you have to be somewhere at a certain time, do you like to arrive early like me, get there just in time, or find time something flexible and turn up when it pleases you?

I think this is one of the few things I would really like to go see. Odd that it doesn't seem to be a huge tourist attraction. Maybe it just is out in the open enough that people can come see it and go and it not be a problem.

That could well be why it is not so well known for may tourists, if I have visitors and we go to Central Park I always take them there

I saw the Original which was made int he 50s I think when I was young it was showing somewhere, and I saw the 2010 movie but not the latest one and also read the book when I was a teen but even without having seen them I agree it is a very cool sculpture

I take into consideration the place I'm going to and why. If it is an appointment I usually get there about 10 minutes early (I factor in traffic and parking in the area) for events like cookouts or parties it varies. If it is a good friend's event I go over early to help out and stay late to clean up if I can.

Thats a good way you decide when your getting somewhere i to Ike getting there a lot early if a friend is hosting to help with getting everything ready and I find that is always appreciated

Oh Alice, the best story ever written and my absolute favorite. From clothes to jewelry, I am a big fan of everything Alice related and this sculpture looks really really nice. Nice photos you took!
