B&W Photo Contest - Color Splash

I have been a bit slack with following and entering this contest for quite a while now, but I do like doing color Splash shots so I looked through my files to see what I had that I thought could be a cool color splash shot and entries for this contest

This I already had edited in my folders, but had't decided on other shots to go with it for a post, so this was a good chance to share it.
Its a shot of one of the buildings in Tudor City down by First Ave in Manhattan, in B&W fully it highlighted the detail of the brocks and such but it didn't really pop for me so I tried leaving the color of the door and I must say I really like this shot, I even had a print of it in my office.

if you have followed me for a while you may have seen similar shots to this shared before but this is a new edit, it was a dull day and a dull kind of shot, but I love highlighting the red cross on the Surf Lifeguard tower.

And finishing off with this shot of an Air relief valve in the wall outside a construction site.

Thanks, ITs now sitting at home but I may put it UN by my computer desk, in our new space we are not allowed to put anything up on the walls
That first shot is fantastic! I really enjoy how the brick looks, and that pop of the door is great, too. Definitely eye-catching. :)

Wow. I really like all of them but that first one is just stupid good. It's an amazing shot to begin with, looks really good in b&w and that door just makes it amazing.

great shots and edits @tattoodjay. I feel like that door in the first shot is beckoning you in. There has to be a good story to go with this but I can't come up with it. Maybe school door calling kids in... Maybe door you spot in a random, non-descript courtyard that you explore leading to...
