Beach Wednesday Walnut beach and Charles Island

After a longer than planned commute home this evening due to a Transformer fire and explosion, which took out the power lines for the Rail Lines between Bridgeport and New Haven this evening, standing waiting for a diesel train to come in and then being squeezed like sardines on the train, I feel the need to look for some photos of more relaxing times and came up with these shots to share for BeachWednesday - led by @lizanomadsoul and initiated by @uwelang

This is a shot while taking a walk along Walnut Beach, and looking out to Charles Island, the tide was out and ppools formed along the shoreline making for such a cool shot, add the fact that there was some nice clouds in the sky was such a bonus.

And another shot from just along the beach on another day and with another camera, this is walking along the Boardwalk so it may be debatable whether it is a beach shot, but the boardwalk runs along right by the beach so I am going with it for this post.

OK now that I have looked through my beach shots and edited this couple I am feeling more relaxed and laid back again, even with the 3 hour commute home tonight with the delays I would still much rather do that, that drive into the city and deal with the delaying along the Highway that I see almost every night from the train, I can't lean back and have a snooze or watch videos while driving LOL

That boardwalk looks really cool. Sorry that your commute was so horrible. That is kind of funny though since we were just talking about that the other day. Hopefully today goes better!
