Do you want Ice with that?
Now I have nothing against ice, I do like it in my drinks to keep them cool, even in Winter I never drink hot drinks and like my drinks nice and cold so often add ice to my water, but the ice in these shotsIin this post I am not so keen on.

Funnily enough the day I came across this as I was walking to my office building I was looking around for icicles and was surprised that I had not noticed any to get shots of which with the cold temperatures, so I made a point of looking for some as I walked to the office and did not spot a single one.
However, as I was walking out for lunch I did find these ones.
Can you guess where they are?

This is where they wqere on a hand rail on stairs into a building and not only was there the icicles but some thick build up of ice as you can see.
I thought that water must have bene dripping down from the building and looke dup but there was no sign of water dripping nor icicles higher up on the building, so I am at a loss to how this formed.

That first shot is awesome! I love how you got so up close and personal with it. Hey! Ice is nice, except on handrails that are for guidance.
There seems to be fossilized particles in that first shot.

Just made some ice cube for my fruit smoothies! Hot weather is driving me to the blender and ice cubes!

I'd much rather drive in the snow than the ice. At least with snow you get a little bit of grip. We have had far too many ice days this year. I do love it on the trees when the sun is coming up though...
Yes indeed ice onthe tree sis so nice to see, but on the roads it is a nightmare

This ice looks so strange, especially those two bulges, where one looks like is is rolling down the handrail. I cannot guess how this could happen, but it must has been frozen very fast ... or a slimy frost-demon was going upstairs and used the handrail ;)
I had not thought of the Slimy frost demon, that could well be it before you gave me this revelation,I thought it was water dripping down and freezing on eit hit the ice cold rail :)
Yes, but you said there was nothing dripping down, and those bulges are suspect - the upper one looks like slime that slips down the handrail and is frozen ... is must be a slimy frost demon :)))
