Felt like doing a trashy Post
Well trash cans in fact, but that was the title that came to mind as I was editing these shots
These shots are inspired by someone who said I could make trash look good so now and again I take shots of trash, in this case not so much the trash but receptacles for it .
For the next few days I am going to be busy with the grandkids which is something I love doing, but they sure keep me busy so I will not be as active onhere with comments as I usually am so I apologise if my comments and replies are short or nn existent :)

NYC in some areas has new trash cans such as these one, the brighter green one in this case is for papers, the Blue for bottles and cans and the darker green one for normal trash.

In ither areas Such as Beekman place on the Eastside, they have just single cans but they are colored and marke dup witht he name of the area.

And this container also seperated for recyling is outside an apartment building on East 14th Street.
I am glad to see recycling becoming more popular, we all need to do our little bit to help the planet and seperating and disposing of reculabe items is one thing we can all do

Thanks, I try every now and again it make what most people ignore look somewhat interesting lOL
I really like that recycling bins are becoming more and more common. I know the ultimate goal is to reduce use, but my wife and I recycle as much as we can.

Ohh yes I remember that as well, some at great speed, and i was only there for the start of it not the worse part of it

Oh really? So you are going to start doing those too? There's some amazing pictures I see on here with those lens.
I used to have a macro with my Pentax Kit, but never got around to getting one for Sony, so I am looking forward to getting some different shots with it
