Soon Boats will be back on the water
For this post, I will share a few shots of some boats in the marina in Downtown Milford Lisman Landing Marina.
As we are getting a little snow last night and oover the next couple of days i was thinking about spring again and lookign forward to it :)

THis shot is taken from on the Hotchkiss Bridge oon a lovely summers day and the marina was not only full with some nice boats but also with Ducks and geese.
This shot was probably taken on a weekday evening, when the slips are not totally full, this is a popular spot on weekends in the warmer months and all the slips are normally occupied then.

And another shot of the same Marina from a different angle, again mos tlikely on a weekday or early in the season with many of the slips being empty
Can you tell I am lookign forward to the warmer months to come, I can just imagine how those living in the states that have bene really hit with harsh cold temps and lots of snow must be feeling

Nice shots! Has the snow hit you yet? We are cold here, but looking at sunny skies so that is nice! The snow you are getting moved through here pretty quickly last week I think. It was nice and light and fluffy so it was easy to clean up.
yes we got the first good fall of the year, about 7 or 8 inches i guess, it does look pretty out the windows and work called a snow day so I am a happy camper :)
Oh, wow, that is good you didn't have to go in. Better safe than sorry! Although you never know... we have totally clear roads and I hit a deer on my way in this morning.
Ohh know are you OK, hope there was not to much damage to your car, I hit a cow back in NZ once and it did a real mess of my car
Yeah, not too bad. I was slowing down for railroad tracks otherwise it might have been a lot worse. I can't imagine hitting a cow!
thats good to hear, and a cow is no joke, it wrote off my car, and hobbled away, worse thing was it was on a back country road and before cell phones, it was a long walk before I got to a house to all it in

I took it as an excuse to get a new car :), well newer car, :)
Like you, I am also looking for some warmer days to come. And, they are coming soon. Not liking this windy and snow at all. The wind here in Italy was crazy for two weeks. No sun, just wind, and rain. It was terrible. Some people lost roofs on their houses...
Let the sunny, and warm days come in my opinion. :)
always sad to hear when people suffer damage i storms, I just got an alert that in some states today a few tornados touched down that must be so scary,
Lets hope spring hurries up for us all :)
Again some great shots! Those blue skies combined with the reflection of the water have a really nice effect.

Still summer this side JJ, but thankfully February, our hottest month, is done. Now it's for the slide into Autumn and then 2 months of winter. Winter is supposed to be 3 months from June to August, but lately its only cold in June and July! No snow of course!

February is normally the harshest month here, but Winter is trying to prove that wrong, may get up to a foot of snow tonight so I will be working from home tomorrow :)

Indeed it is I considered walking there this morning as its only about a mile away but it is slippery out and most to the pathways are covered in 7 inches of snow, so did just a short walk around the neighborhood ,
I am sure it's a real pleasant walk when it's not covered with snow soon you will be able to do it without slipping and causing a avalanche :)
MY Wife isnt keen on me getting out in the snow after I slipped a couple of winters ago, and slipped and slid into the duck pond, and dislocated my shoulder and popped my knee out of joint, the good thing is I did keep my camera out of the pond so to me it was all good lOL
Oh my that's nasty see you damaged yourself more because you were more worried about your camera that i call dedication and respect to your camera....lol :)
LOl Yeah if I hadnt been trying to protect my camera it probably would not have bene so bad LOL
And why not it's a very photogenic scenery also :)
