Tree Tuesday - Served there purpose
This is a post for tree Tuesday Hosted by @old-guy-photos, and if you think had finished with my photos of Christmas trees, well that's not the case, I shared shots of trees for sale on the streets of NYC, and shots of some trees all decorated in various parts of the city and this post ends the cycle for the trees.

The end of the Cycle for the Christmas trees in NYC is when they end up on the street waiting for the rubbish collecting trucks to come along and pick them up and this is a common sight all over the city this past week and most likely again for this coming week.
And as I prepared this post on Sunday Morning it came to me that it is something I should do that morning take the decorations of our little Christmas tree and pack it away, I wonder if when I share this post on Tuesday if I will have packed away our tree or other things got int he way and I forgot.
How about you if you had a tree or trees setup in your house are they all packed away yet?

And another tree on a street in another part of the city, II found the background a bit distracting and annoying so faded it away a little with an painterly feel to it in this shot.

Our tree went back in the box a day or two after Christmas was over. It takes up space in our living room that we normally use for other things. It was nice to get it out of the way and open the room back up a little.
Our tree is very small and sits on a little table, I was meant to take it down this past weekend but completly forgot about it, I must do it one evening this week or I will be tempted to say it looks pretty where it is lsets just elevate it up for the year LOL

Our tree and decorations are gone. As are our college aged boys :(
I was meant to take our little tree down this past weekend but I completly forgot to its a real small one sitting on a corner table only 3 foot tall, I better do it soon or I willget even lazier and say it looks good lets leave it up all year LOL
Yes! I get them up and put away usually after New Years or Three Kings Day. One of the other. This year, it was New Year! My neighborhood looks like that today too! :) Tomorrow is the last day!
I better do ours tonight then or else it will have to stay up all year :)

perhaps a old fade. Heart decorations, then
eggs and well you have to be careful when
the holidays come that require fireworks! lol

That is a downside of having real Christmas trees for sure and why we use a fake one no damage to the environment
We use fake trees at home. We avoid waste and killing a real tree. Do you know how many of these lay around in the streets until collected?
That is exactly why we to use a fake one walking around the streets of NYC at this time of year and seeing so many trees killed for just decoarations is crazy and sad
