Wednesday Walk - The Challenge continues

My post for this week's Wednesday walk a tag started by me

Wednesday walk challenge

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Try and get a few shots not just one

You can look for anything in generally or decide on one subject you want to get shots of.

Try to limit yourself to a set distance or time from the starting location, say 5 Blocks, 5 Minutes walk or whatever and see what you can find in that short distance

make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join it this week please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I want to thank everyone who is taken part in the challenge i try to visit support and comment on all Wednesday Walk posts, but if I have missed any I apologise, its hard to keep up sometimes.

This week I had time for a little walk near Downtown in Milford CT.
I walked down to the Hotchkiss Bridge and got a couple of shots including this one of the Lisman Landing docks.

Still not many boats in the water, mind you this marina is more popular on weekends

This second shot is taken from the same spot on the bridge, and is looking at the little dock beside the slipway where people can put their boats into the water .

Great to see the greens coming back, seems only a couple of weeks ago this view would have been with most of the trees fairly barren.

This was as I walked off the bridge and down the road towards the slipway, I thought these clouds and reflections were pretty cool.

Walking back I thought i would get a shot of the Bridge where I took the first couple of photos from.

When I first moved here we rented an apartment on the other side of this bridge just off to the left, was a lovely and well maintained complex for a few years, till a new company bought them and then service went down a bit and it was also the right time for us to buy a little condo in Milford so we moved from there.

This is the corner of a building which is now the SBC restaurant, its a great restaurant great food and a few tables with nice views out over the water.
