We are suffering because of the ruler of the country now. Can't imagine when these will end. I wish our country a better time soon. ♥️🌼

When I started my industrial training I was about to write something about it. But I couldn't. When I get home after work I take a shower and go to bed because of the power cut. Nothing can be done because of that.

So, today I'm going to write about my workplace. It's been a month since I started working. I'm a trainee account assistant at FIBC Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. It's located in the industrial zone, Polonnaruwa. Let me tell you something about the organization. FIBC is the Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container manufacturer in Sri Lanka. They export their products. There are two plants houses for FIBCs and poly woven products and this is the first time I hear something like this. More than 300 employees work in the factory.

There are sales, finance, HR and production departments and as well as a quality control department. I have never seen such huge machines. There is a machine that I couldn't capture in one photograph. It's like the heart of the company.

First, they make the tent using Polypropylene (PP) and then produce bags. This machine is used to melt PP at 145 °C and produce thread for weaving the tent.

It is turned off only once a month for cleaning. The reason for that is that it costs a lot just to turn the machine on again and heat it. But with this power cut situation, everything is messed up. They do the power cut now in the industrial zone also.

Working there gives me valuable experience. I'm learning so many new things theoretically as well as practically. This is a good opportunity to learn things I've never knew existed.
