In the process of getting my driving licence

This year I promised myself that I will get my driving license. So here I am today going to complete the initial process of taking the medical test. I have joined Bimal Learners (Driving School) which is near my home. It's easy for me to learn through a driving school, I feel in that way I will be more confident and a responsible driver.

I headed to the national transport medical institute which is located at Werahara around 6.30 am. I'm not alone today, My sister-in-law joined me too! It was a new thing for both of us and we were really excited until we complete the task.

Here are all documents which I need for the day, I carried an original copy of my birth certificate, national Identity card, and the docs I received from the driving school.

It was a lot crowded today, Many people are in queues to get their medical done. We too moved in long queues, It took almost half of our day. I left my little munchkin at home, and I Was a bit worried throughout the process as it was very time-consuming.

This is us waiting until we get our chance. We both were super bored and hungry at the same time. Since we came really early we were not able to have our breakfast. There was no time for breakfast, and I was in a hurry to return back to home.

Amidst the crowd and hunger, there was something for us to enjoy... That's the beautifully grown flower plants. They have maintained the area really well. It was a pleasant view for anybody who visits the place for medical. Even though it is a state office they worked very efficiently and managed the crowd effectively.

During the medical process, they checked our blood type, blood sugar, eyesight, and hearing and gave some physical exercises. I was a bit alarmed while checking my blood sugar, as I am a sweet tooth person. I always crave sweet desserts. Luckily It was in the range and I worried unnecessarily.

I got the chance to make some new friends too. They were very supportive and fun to be with. Just because we helped each other we were able to finish the task soon, If not we would have spent the whole day roaming around the building not knowing what is to be done next.

Finally, the most awaited medical report is in hand. We also took dates for the driving examination. The exam is in ten days, now its time to study.....! 🤞
