Mushroom
I believe once I saw and took a photo of the mushroom you see on the picture. It's known where I live but what most people don't know is that it's poison. I wonder if that's true and what who figured out it is. Did someone took a bite, did an entire community tried out if it's edible? Perhaps someone saw how flies drop dead after they sat on it which I find hard to believe. Flies are hard to kill.
What I do know is that this mushroom is different from the other ones. Most are brown or kind of white and this one dares to be different. We all know differences are't appreciated. Still, this one is and there must be a good reason for that. It can'do be it just looks different to give people something to talk about and weave their stories around it.
What gives this little mushroom in the forest such a bright red and what are those white spots meant for? Interesting is that in fairy tales these mushrooms are the first we have in mind although, it's never mentioned they are poison. I'm't that weird? Strange too is that the little mushrooms sold to decorate the Christmas tree with look exactly the same. Perhaps the red fits great to Santa's outfit and the white dots on the mushroom remind of snowflakes?

The only mushrooms I know are edible mushrooms and I like them. I wish I could live near a place where they harvest mushrooms and learn more about them.
They grow in the dark (forest or cellar would do) and where it's humid. You could try to grow them yourself. For sure you will find info on the internet. Over here there are groups of private people growing mushrooms which you can ask for advice too. 🍀♥️
