It's over, the 11th round in @bambuka's competition series. This time I had the pleasure of contributing the theme and task. Thank you for that!

My expectations were exceeded! In more ways than one: there were brand new participants in our illustrious round. Welcome and I hope you enjoy it with us ;-)) I found ALL the entries very special, each participant showed in their own style what you can do with photos (technically you are all far superior to me!) and the picture puzzles are extremely difficult! And therefore totally exciting.

@ajay27 is one of the newcomers and has done an impressive job. I really liked how he transformed an everyday snapshot of a plant into something beautiful and indefinable. However, since he solved his own puzzle right away in his contribution, I feel deprived of the requested moment of suspense: as @bambuka rightly remarked, the actual task was thus missed. As sorry as I am - I will not take this post into account for my selection of the winner. Please don't let that stop you from continuing to participate: I think your idea is really great and I expect great things from you ;-))

And now it's getting difficult for me... It was not a lie when I wrote at the beginning that ALL works surprised and inspired me. Now the past showed that our esteemed organizer would like to choose exactly ONE winner in the end. This makes it really complicated and exhausting for me at this point. What should I highlight, who should I pay special tribute to?

I just look at each contribution again. As different as the approach of the individual participants was, the results are not comparable. There were solutions, there are unsolved puzzles. They are all wonderfully creative and unique!

I can't help but throw all normal standards overboard and ask myself: what blew me away the most? Flabbergasted? Amazed? Fascinated? Yes... You will have to live with an absolutely subjective and emotional decision that can hardly be justified.

My choice goes to the UFO by @lllll1ll - it almost drove me crazy to see the picture and not know... Congratulations from the bottom of my heart!

My great respect to each participant: I look forward to many more rounds together, experiences of competing and learning!

Sie ist gelaufen, die 11. Runde in @bambuka's Wettbewerbsreihe. Diesmal hatte ich das Vergnügen, Thema und Aufgabenstellung beisteuern zu dürfen. Danke dafür!

Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! In mehrfacher Hinsicht: es gab ganz neue Teilnehmer in unserer illustren Runde. Willkommen und hoffentlich gefällt es Euch bei uns ;-)) ALLE eingereichten Beiträge empfand ich als sehr speziell, jeder Teilnehmer hat in seinem ganz eigenen Stil gezeigt, was man mit Fotos alles anstellen kann (technisch seid Ihr mir echt alle haushoch überlegen!) und die Bilderrätsel sind ausgesprochen schwer! Und dadurch total spannend.

@ajay27 ist einer der neu zu uns gestoßenen Mitstreiter und hat eine beeindruckende Arbeit hingelegt. Mir hat sehr gefallen, wie er einen alltäglichen Schnappschuß von einer Pflanze verwandelt hat in etwas Schönes, Undefinierbares. Da er allerdings in seinem Beitrag sein eigenes Rätsel gleich auflöste, fühle ich mich um das erbetene Spannungsmoment beraubt: wie @bambuka zutreffend anmerkte, wurde die eigentliche Aufgabe damit verfehlt. So leid es mir tut - für meine Gewinnerkür werde ich diesen Post nicht mit berücksichtigen. Laß Dich davon bitte nicht abhalten, weiter bei uns mitzumischen: Deine Idee finde ich wirklich toll und ich erwarte noch Großes von Dir ;-))

Und nun wird es schwierig für mich... Es war nicht gelogen, als ich eingangs schrieb, daß ALLE Arbeiten mich überrascht und angeregt haben. Nun zeigte die Vergangenheit, daß unser geschätzter Veranstalter am Ende gerne genau EINEN Sieger küren möchte. Das macht es für mich an dieser Stelle echt kompliziert und anstrengend. Was soll ich hervorheben, wenn soll ich besonders würdigen?

Ich schaue mir eben jeden Beitrag noch einmal an. So unterschiedlich, wie die Herangehensweise der einzelnen Teilnehmer war, so wenig vergleichbar sind die Resultate. Es gab Auflösungen, es gibt ungelöste Rätsel. Sie sind sämtlich wunderbar kreativ und einzigartig!

Ich kann nicht anders, als alle normalen Maßstäbe über Bord zu werfen und mich zu fragen: was hat mich am meisten überrollt? Geflasht? Verblüfft? Fasziniert? Ja... Ihr müßt mit einer absolut subjektiven und gefühlsbetonten und kaum begründbaren Entscheidung leben.

Meine Wahl fällt auf das UFO von @lllll1ll - es hat mich fast irre gemacht, das Bild zu sehen und nicht zu wissen... Ich gratuliere Dir von Herzen!

Mein großer Respekt an jeden Teilnehmer: ich freue mich auf viele weitere gemeinsame Runden, Erlebnisse des Wetteiferns und des Lernens!
