These photos were taken over a 16 day period to show you how they look from buds to full bloom. There are hundreds of different Clematis plants. The one I have to show you is the Sweet Autumn Clematis Vine.
Date of first 3 photos is 8-26-18
The pretty white flowers have a sweet fragrance and bloom from late summer through autumn, hence their name.
The next 2 photos were taken 4 days later on 8-30-18.
This is a fast growing vine and can grow over 30 feet long. Some consider it to be invasive, but look how pretty it is when it grows over a fence like this.
The next 3 photos were taken 5 days later on 9-4-18.
During this time most of the summer flowers are dying or dead, so these flowers are a welcome sight.
The next 2 photos were taken 3 days later 0n 9-7-18.
And here they are all in full bloom 4 days later on 9-11-18.
