The Seven Day B&W 📷 Challenge - Day #3 - The Cracker and the Whale

Would you look what came out of my christmas cracker.

: Perhaps it was a prophetic offering to the gods? Usually we don't even have christmas crackers, but this year my brother brought some to add a bit of english into the proceedings. And whaddya know, a little jigsaw puzzle tumbled out of it (along with a very swish paper crown). Imagine my surprise when I saw that the jigsaw had a whale on it! Perhaps that's my goal for next year? Become full of blubber? Or is it a sign to come for what steemit still holds for us? Only time will tell...in the meantime I leave you with this exquisite explosion of colors. Royal navy hues frame the elegant body of the largest mammal on earth. The corals beneath reflecting the entire spectrum of light in a display worthy of a kaleidoscope. And the coast behind? Here we go again....but green as the hills of ireland!

Of course you can see none of this because it's all in black and white.

Christmas was a rather lovely family affair this winter, the substantial haul is of course a great bonus! My brother and his girlfriend brought their new puppy along for the first time and my what a little piece of fluffy heaven that little monster is! I also got a vape, so perhaps I can finally curtail my smoking habit a little bit. Well fed and watered I'm a happy camper today!

This is my third entrance into the #sevendaybnwchallenge. Let's see if we can get seven of these! I know I skipped a few days but ehhhh it's the thought that counts as long as I finish all 7? I hope? :D

Hint of the Day:

A hangover is best cured by ingesting a lot of fluids and vitamins the day after. Bananas, bread and bacon if you can manage! Soft circular motions with your fingers on the temples can relieve stress and lessen headaches. Extended naps and showers are also useful. God I'm getting old xD
