Reflections of the longest day of the year
Today is the longest day of the year, the longest Sunday. No-no, scientifically it is a usual day, it is just a trick of humans who come up with an idea to put the clock back and forward twice a year. And so we will pay the price for it in spring. That is the reason to love autumn more than spring.
I think that autumn is the most gorgeous, wealthy and generous season here in Europe. She presents us with a rich harvest, pampers us with mild weather and vivid colors, entertains with autumn fests and celebrations. She is caring and kind, like an old good granny...
But her beauty fades day by day. One morning we notice her gray hair of fog... Saturated and bright colors dimmed.
Fog is followed by rains, and umbrella, gloves and scarf become our best friends. There are days that look more likely to the Arctic night. And also, it means the Christmas time is coming, and soon our towns will turn out into a fairy of light and aromas, and exciting holiday preparations. And soon, very soon a new circle will begin again.

I've not thought of autumn that way "old good granny" and now I will. The photos are lovely. I could feel the moisture in the air which is a rarity around here.
We have had 2 foggy days here. I love fog very much. Although it is wet and my hair always look funny, it makes the world look magic and very romantic ) And there is no wind in a fog, it is wet and warm...
