AAA Review - Furie - A Netflix movie

An action packed movie from Vietnam that is available on Netflix now. This movie was a big hit in Vietnam.

“Furie” has a simple and straightforward plot where a young girl named Mai gets kidnapped away from her Mother, the protagonist of the show. Hai Phuong went searching for the kidnappers all the way from the countryside into the city, where she used to work in the night life scene.

Along the way, she uncovered a much bigger illegal child trafficking and organ selling group with the help of a local cop.

As expected, she was able to rescue her daughter as well as other kidnapped children, all within 24 hours. And as usual, the police only arrived at the final scene after she had beaten all the crooks.

“Furie” is all about the action and Veronica Ngo (Hai Phuong) showed off her amazing martial arts in multiple scenes against the kidnappers.

This was my first Vietnamese movie and wasn’t disappointed. Although the plot looks like it was taken from a 90s Hong Kong movie but the action sequence made up for the weakness.
