AAA Movie Review #1 | Come and Watch PK | Best Film Ever!

This is one of the greatest movies I have watched in the last couple of years. It is actually a Hindi movie that was made back in 2014. The message of the film is quite philosophical as it makes you think deeply about life and religion. The whole presentation is quite satirical but because of the comedy and musical drama put into the development of the storyline, you feel quite light-hearted while wrestling with deep-seated falsehood and lies that are buried and hidden within all of us.

After watching the movie for the first time, I quickly went over to my best friend's place and showed it to his family. Everyone had a good laugh and even the kids enjoyed the entire show. The kids really didn't understand the message but the musical comedy was really funny. A month later, we had a reunion with our high school friends and not knowing what we should do for entertainment that evening, we decided to watch this movie together. It was a blast! Everyone had a good time. So if you ever wonder what movie to watch for a family or friends gathering, I recommend this one.

We all know how important the beginning of a movie is as it sets the stage for the audience to want to continue to watch with great interest.

The plot of the story begins with this man called PK who is an alien. He actually comes from a planet where everyone tells the truth and nobody steals from one another. So on his planet home, he doesn't need to wear clothes. So the first scene we see is PK landing on earth naked. He ended up stranded on earth with his space ship remote stolen. So the whole storyline continues on his search for his remote so that he can go back to his home planet.

You need to watch this movie from the point of view of 'an alien'. There are so many things you and I take for granted because we have been used to living 'on earth'. We don't question anything. We assume a lot of things and take many things for granted. We wear clothes, we eat, we buy, etc.

To an alien, they don't understand what 'money' is all about. In India, the face of Gandhi is put on the paper note. And as PK watches how people are buying things with this paper money, he thought that anything that has the picture of Gandhi can be exchanged for goods. So he grabbed all the newspapers and magazines with the picture of Gandhi and went to the market to buy his food. People thought he was nuts and threw away all the Gandhi pictures. It is from all these situations that PK learned about "life" on earth.

PK goes around and asks questions that nobody ever asks. These questions really make you think. You probably had never asked them before. After watching this film, you can start asking them. It will change your life! Your life has been too set and fixed for the longest time that you are stuck in the rut. You need to come out of there and find the truth with an open mind.

PK eventually fell in love with a girl called Jaggu.
In the end, he had to give up Jaggu for his integrity sake.

Everyone falls in love with them!

Jaggu is a journalist student in Bruges, Belgium. After finishing her studies, she returned to her hometown in India because of a failed relationship with a Pakistani lover called Sarfaraz.

Continuing on with her work as a journalist in India, Jaggu found PK fascinating in the way he dealt with day to day affairs and the quirky way he dressed.

PK taught Jaggu how languages are transmitted and that one can learn a language quickly because of a 'pure' mind of getting connected to each other.

I tell you, the producer got the right actor and actress for this movie. They are the perfect fit for their roles with exceptional performances. PK plays the role of an innocent mind in his pursuit of life and God. He questions Islam, Christianity and Hinduism. He asks: "Do these people truly worship God or are they worshipping a 'god' that they created themselves?". If you are a religious person, that is a question you need to face squarely in front of you.

Jaggu is such a carefree and loveable gal. Who did she end up with finally? PK or the Pakastini Sarfaraz? It seems as if the fate of these 3 people depended on PK as he had control of a piece of information the other two didn't have. Sarfaraz appeared again in the end.
