I guess i should show a bit of Europe, but who cares about that right? we are all about America here and policing the world and meddling with everyone else's business... well i guess Europe counts as everyone else and they will have a lot of business in which i can meddle in in the future so... i guess i'll show it.

I influenced Colombia for a while to secure my contract for the Panama canal when it comes up in the next 50 years!

We signed a treaty to resolve some border issues with the British over in New England and we ceded our claims in some provinces of the Maritimes in exchange for the province of Caribou, but i plan to take the whole region for myself in the future, so this is just buying time for myself!

After all the silly politics and debates, the time came for what we are really good at! WAR! The time to Manifest Destiny was upon us!

As soon as i declared the manifest destiny, the Texans joined us without us even have to move a finger! but Mexico refused to cede the territories! so it was time for war! less talk, less smiles and more blood!

The war was.... rather uneventful, the Mexicans barely put up any resistance, since they had been struck by many rebellions a few years before... but 3 "major battles" happened:

The Battle of San Antonio

The Mexicans where outnumbered 4 to 1 and got completely crushed.

The Battle of the Yucatan Sea

Lets say... it was an unequal battle, they had no chance of winning again. We only lost a transport ship, that should have not been there, but since their navy was petty, i was lazy and didn't remove my transport ships.

The Battle of Fort Owen

They caused us some casualties here, but we still crushed them, so its ok? maybe... i guess losing people sucks but war... war never changes.

During the war this little event popped up and my original plan was to fight the British for Columbia, but since i was already fighting with the Mexicans, i didn't want to fight a 2 front war so i decided to agree to their deal (for now).

Just 10 years into the game and after the war with the Mexicans ended and the deal with the British was signed, this is what America looks like! It looks like we have done a lot but we still have long ways to go!

Peace of our time? Only thanks to the Benevolent Empire of course.

I got bored of peace, what can i say, so in order to protect American interest across the globe, I invaded Mauritania and annexed them, in order to defend our interest of course... not because i want to be an empire or anything...

I accepted an alliance offer from the Austrian Empire because they are a multi-cultural empire like me, so i guess we are made to be allies :^)

and just before i finished my play for the night, the whole landscape of Europe changed, hopefully it will be more interesting in the next few years!

The Prussians united the North German States into the North German Confederation, Poland rebelled from the Russians and Austria became Austro-Hungary! they are still my allies!
