Wow , I put a lot of hours in it...

Add more , add more...

What do you mean? I'm saying this is our system to run the platform. There are over 200 posts are on Steemhunt everyday, and we gotta check all posts to see if it meets our guidelines. It's all manual check. How do you think this is possible not by paid???

Set up a fund for them , and pay as wages .
Like what utopian.io did .

What I found out was that the Post get rejected and the moderators get $1.20
Is that necessary ?

post gets rejected because they're reviewed by the moderator (it's the work mods do)

utopian also pays mods by votings: https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@utopian.stats/utopian-pay-2018-3-29

@tabris

post gets rejected because they're reviewed by the moderator (it's the work mods do)

What sort of work get 1.20 sbd ? Just by viewing ?

so what sort of work you get like 10 sbd? (post + comment you self voted)
just by writing about something you don't understand?

Our payment system is based on mod's moderation comment. The current rule is like this:

  1. 10% vp will be 1/n for all moderation comments.
  2. The mod's comment will be counted by only one time per post. No duplications. (this is newly updated by yesterday).
  3. The voting for mod's comments are at the end of all other upvotes.

I also know the utopian's system. They don't set up any fixed fund. They have a rule for set vp to upvote the moderator's payout comment on their payout post. It's literally similar system with us (upvoting their comments from the main account to pay them).

https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@utopian.stats/utopian-pay-2018-3-29

We will run the mod's payout report soon like Utopian for transparency after setting up the mod system more concisely. (It's still very early stage for us to set up mod system - just couple of weeks ago).

Thanks for your opinion again.

@project7 ,Thanks for your time to clarify .

Hi @bullionstackers... we honestly spend quite a few minutes checking every single hunt... it's quite a lot of work to ensure the quality of the posts - rejection or approval takes the same amount of time.

You're welcome. We will run the payout report (or transparency report like DLive) soon. It's on our task list already.

Thanks!

Don't start !
I only raise the question

I’m glad to see this post starts with all caps and immediate claims of abuse, even before any verification of such. The beatbox the Internet gave everyone. ;)

Obviously, as a Steemhunt mod, I’m biased.

I hope you understand that this system was in place since the moderators started and not only began after the misterdelegation delegation.

As a mod myself I can confirm that most mods spend at least 5-6 hrs/day reviewing and also answering multiple questions in our Discord community.

I do understand that STU 1.2 seems steep but it’s also a flexible number as every day we have more hunts submitted (265 in the last window ~ 44 reviews/mod). But the feel around 1.2 is also biased because of the broken peg.

Lastly, I would like to ask what you want Steem to be for hard working Steemians? Do you want Steem to be a place like Mechanical Turk or oDesk, a race to the bottom or would you like Steem to become an empowering place which can impact vertical social mobility?

Facebook moderators are based in the Philippines and earn on average $600/month (all incl) and perform sweatshop work with actual quotas how long a review can take. That is public knowledge, Facebook outsourced via Accenture and reviews can be found on Glassdoor.

We have a unique opportunity on steem to be different. Everybody lives where they live and if you hang out some hours in our discord and have a stroll in the different channels you will notice Steemhunt is as transparent as possible. We fight gamification by use of bidbots (each approved hunt is checked multiple times each day against the wallets of “split votes bots”, we are actively engaging and designing a system to minimize abuse, and we constantly try to empower new members. Some reviews take few minutes, others take several hours and follow on comments as we give people chances to improve their hunt and guide them to do so, which means we have to verify multiple times.

The 1.2 isn’t set in stone and is highly likely bound to change with time as the team grows. Especially if 1/n based. And obviously, if the peg is ever achieved it will also change its true worth.

Thanks to the generous temporary delegations, many of which also benefit a sponsor return and Airdrop rewards, Steemhunt currently is in the position of being able to make a difference to the lives of many. Rest assured we will not abuse that support and we will work hard every day to earn those delegations to be continued. Many more things will be released over the next few weeks and months. Stay tuned, but we can only manage as much as we can in any given set of time.

Thank you for making this a point and giving everyone the opportunity to respond. Hope you soon hop over to our discord and have a browse/chat with the Steemhunt community. Looking forward to see you there! 🤘

PS: the Utopian pay account is used for different purposes. Mods get a weekly upvote from the main account, based on work (reviews) performed the week before.

Hello, I'm a co-creator of Steemhunt. Thanks for your post, BUT your argument is NOT TRUE at all.

The Steemians you mentioned above are all moderators within our community who verify all of Steemhunt's post and check if they meet our Posting Guidelines. In order to pay for their hard work, we use about 10% of our daily voting pool and upvote their moderation comments. This way of paying the moderators has also been confirmed by the delegator.

So, this is not abuse at all. We all work so hard to make Steemhunt a fair and great ranking community. Please re-consider your misleading post. Thanks.

it's not self voting.

They're our moderators who's working many hours everyday to improve the quality of curation on Steemhunt.
We allocate about 10% of total voting powers (2% a day) to our mod comments.

success is always for you @bullionstackers.

how can a newbie get DELEGATION POWER? any chance?

Ternyata banyak juga kecurangan dalam steemit

I salute what you do.if you have a stopover time at my keblog.I have followed you.

erm, because we are moderators? :) -- these are our guidelines we stick too -- https://github.com/Steemhunt/web/blob/master/POSTING_GUIDELINES.md -- project already raised half a million on it's own before @misterdelegation put in extra to see the project succeed.

Thank you craters for the imfoya, this imfo sanyat useful for me and all users steemit.
