Astonishing Identity Politics at a School of Engineering (THE SAAD TRUTH_750)
Presenter: Prof Gad Saad
Date: 14 October 2018
Saad discusses information provided to him by a current engineering student in Canada describing the effect political correctness has had on his experience. It includes several rather outrageous details, including the description of students being told that hard sciences are not the most important part of engineering and it is the "soft" part of it, the "human touch" in an engineer that really matters.
Depressing - and rather scary if you think that people educated this way will before long be designing bridges you drive on and cars you'll be driving across those bridges.
Great presentation nonetheless - as is pretty much everything Saad puts out.
