My Actifit Report Card: 3 December 2018

Last weekend Arnold Schwarzenegger was guest speaker at one of the biggest motivational events of the year in Germany. 10 000 people filled the Olympic Hall in Munich.

Arnie showed an enthusiastic audience in a one-hour lecture which six principles he used to build his career as a bodybuilder, actor and governor of California.

  1. You need a vision, a goal for which you burn every morning when you start the day. People without goals and visions of what they want to achieve in life cannot really become independent and successful.
  2. Do not listen to pessimists and naysayers who want to make your goals mad or convince you that you cannot do it.
  3. Work very hard on your goal. 90% of your success is sweat, effort and stamina. Only 10% is talent.
  4. Have no plan B. A safety net in the form of a Plan B only distracts you from reaching your goal. Concentrate fully on what you want to achieve.
  5. Seek support and help from other people who will accompany you on your journey. You can never reach your goal alone.
  6. Make an appropriate contribution to society and help others achieve their goals once you have done it yourself.

These principles can also easily translated to us being active people within our actifit-community!

Arnold Schwarzenegger war am letzten Wochenende Gastsprecher bei einer der größten Motivations-Veranstaltungen in diesem Jahr. 10 000 Leute füllten die Olympia Halle in München.

Arnie zeigte einem begeisterten Publikum in einem einstündigen Vortrag auf, mit welchen sechs Prinzipien er seine Karriere als Bodybuilder, Schauspieler und Gouverneur von Kalifornien aufbaute.

  1. Du brauchst eine Vision, ein Ziel, für das du jeden Morgen brennst, wenn du den Tag beginnst. Menschen ohne Ziele und Visionen, was sie im Leben erreichen wollen, können nicht wirklich unabhängig und erfolgreich werden.
  2. Höre nicht auf Pessimisten und Neinsager, die dir deine Ziele madig machen wollen oder dir einreden wollen, dass du es nicht schaffen kannst.
  3. Arbeite sehr hart an deinem Ziel. 90% deines Erfolges sind Schweiß, Anstrengung und Durchhaltevermögen. Nur 10% sind Talent.
  4. Habe keinen Plan B. Ein Sicherheitsnetz in Form eines Plan B lenkt dich nur von der Erreichung deines Ziels ab. Konzentriere dich voll und ganz auf das, was du erreichen willst.
  5. Suche Unterstützung und Hilfe von anderen Menschen, die dich auf deinem Weg begleiten. Du kannst dein Ziel nie ganz allein erreichen.
  6. Leiste einen angemessenen Beitrag zur Gesellschaft und helfe anderen ihre Ziele zu erreichen, sobald du es selbst geschafft hast.

Diese Prinzipien können sehr leicht für uns als aktive Menschen im Rahmen der actifit-community umgesetzt werden.

Arnold was governor of California and he actually picked up starbucks at our downtown store. The greatest bodybuilder of all time. Way to @actifit with Arnold
