My Actifit Blog: 14 April 2019 Weekly Stats
I am glad that my picture puzzle was finally solved after all. I know it wasn't easy. I already have another puzzle in mind, but it will only be posted towards the end of next week.
The picture above shows a very well known tree species, especially very well known in Bavaria. Maybe someone knows it. This is less suitable for a puzzle. This tree should be too well known, especially later in autumn, when small brown "fruits" rattle down.
On my walk I also saw a deer running across the fields. Unfortunately it was too far away, so the picture was not really good. You can see it further down.
Ich bin froh, dass mein Bilderrätsel letztendlich doch noch gelöst wurde. Ich weiß, es war nicht leicht. Ich hab schon ein weiteres Rätsel im Sinn, es wird aber erst gegen Ende der kommenden Woche gepostet.
Das obige Bild zeigt eine in Bayern sehr bekannte Baumart, die sehr verbreitet ist. Vielleicht kennt sie jemand. Für ein Rätsel ist das weniger gut geeignet. Dieser Baum dürfte zu bekannt sein, insbesondere später im Herbst, wenn kleine braune "Früchte" herunterprasseln.
Auf meinem Spaziergang sah ich auch ein Reh über die Felder laufen. Leider war es zu weit weg, sodass das Bild nicht wirklich gut wurde. Ihr seht es weiter unten.

That is why I do not make a contest in regards to the tree above! But the last macro picture showed a sage leaf, which I think is, as herb, widespread in the world. Was it known to you?
Nah nah, I am pretty sure it doesn't grow freely here it might be grown specially though.

Great report Peter. Looking back I learnt about the sage leaf😹. That was difficult yet simple. For some reason I thought it was a fruit 😂
Sage is common here but that tree in your picture, I have no idea what it is. Never seen it here in Kenya.

I am going to post some more data on the tree. The trees name is: horse chestnut tree!
Great to know about the horse Chestnut tree. Yes we use sage in cooking. However, I don't have the live plant I use the ground version of it bought at the grocery 👍😁
