My Actifit Report Card: May 11 2019 What a day....
It was a rough one, but we made it through. I'm not much of a complainer, but MAN!
First, it had rained most of the night and part of the morning. Everything was soaking wet, and so were we after crawling around up in the scaffold first thing.
We went up to put some more hangers in for the HDPE pipe in a pretty tight spot up in the highline, one of which needed some modification on the fly.
Like I said, we were pretty well soaked, and while I was pushing on this hanger and holding it level so my buddy there could finish tacking it off (so, I was grounded), his hood dropped so he couldn't see. He accidentally bumped my finger with the end of his welding rod and shocked the HELL out of me 😂. It's funny now, but good grief!
We got in a grove, and knocked 3 of those big ol' hangers out, so I'ma call that a win for today.
Worst part is, I got a message from my brother, @bigmike9984 right before lunch wanting me to call. Apparently our cousin Pudge died of an overdose. He was a good guy. One of the funniest folks you'll ever meet. If you will, keep his family in your prayers. They need it.
Well,. That's enough pissing and moaning for one day I guess. On the bright side, we made some money, done some quality work, and made it home safe. Plus, I think that's a new high score for me on actifit!
