Memorial to Imp - My Actifit Report Card: March 12 2019
Meet Imp, Khalessi, and Cersei - our 3 ASIC Bitcoin miners. (All named after Game of Throne characters, in case you're not a fan) Imp is the older of the 3 by about 9 months, and he's about to bite the dust. After two and a half years of non-stop mining, his time has come. About twice a day now, he's shutting down and has to be restarted. With the cost of BTC being so low and the cost of electricity being so high, we won't be replacing him. But boy, back when BTC was $20K, it was going on! He more than earned his keep. Now, not so much. So when Khalessi and Cersei follow in his footsteps, we'll be out of the mining business. All good things must come to an end I guess.
One thing I wish would come to an end is my almost two year old lawsuit with Progressive Insurance. Like all insurance companies, quick to take your money, slow to pay any out. A word of advice: if another driver rear ends you, while you are stopped dead in the road in because a tree is across it, in the middle of a tornado - hope that the at-fault driver who rear-ended you does NOT have the same insurance company (i.e. Progressive) as you do.
I have to be at the attorney's bright and early tomorrow to give a deposition to his attorney on everything they already have in their file, in the hopes that I have forgotten something or will say something in error since it's been almost 2 years ago now! After all, I'm the one on trial for having the audacity to come out of that with an injury!
Anyway, as for actifit, I went with @crypt-skip to the Y and got in the automaticwin then on to dance class and got the rest. Well over my 13K goal. I'll be hitting the Y when I get back from the lawyer meeting tomorrow, to work off the sure be stressful morning. Wish me luck!

Best of luck with the case. I had to sue a company once, and even though I won, it's an ordeal I don't ever want to go through again.
As for the Bitcoin miners, I'd heard it wasn't profitable anymore unless you were a big company with hundreds of mining rigs? Good to see you getting something out of it. Wonder if they could mine Litecoin or another cryptocurrency more efficiently?

Yes it's not profitable now. We are just making the Bitcoin and HODLING it hoping it will raise up again one of these days. These machines are a s i c so we couldn't mine Litecoin with them but there are a couple of other coins we could mine like Bitcoin cash or zcash. We just decided to stick with Bitcoin until the machines die. Yes dealing with insurance and attorneys is the worst.

Thanks Eric. We got behind on GOT But always intended to go back and watch it from the beginning. I even wanted my granddaughter to have been named Khaleesi. I love that name. But they didn't so much, LOL. You were lucky to get your claim settled in only three months. This has been going on for almost 2 years now

I'm telling you, do you know these guys like putting the important phrases in tiny letters so that you don't bother reading it. Here, loads of drivers use third party insurance because it is very cheap and they don't want to bother going through so much documentation and waiting. I guess we just need them anyway for legal reasons at least to drive your car needs insurance.
Yeah, I remember when Mogan asked if we got better gas mileage since half the car was missing lol
