Ted Drewes, A St. Louis Tradition - My Actifit Report Card: March 13 2019
We started out early at the Y because we had to get to my lawyer appointment this morning. I guess it went ok, I just know I'm glad that part is over. Now, unless they come back with a reasonable offer, the next step will be arbitration. That will be a panel of 3 independent lawyers to be the arbitrators, my lawyer, and Progessive' s lawyer. The challenge, I'm told, is setting a date when all 5 lawyers can find a time that they're all free. Their time is so much more valuable than mine, I've only been waiting almost two years for a settlement.
So to calm my nerves after that ordeal we hit Ted Drewes Frozen Custard on the way home. This place has been in business for 80 years and is pretty famous. They invented the "concrete" in 1959, which means it's so thick you can serve it upside down. If it comes out of the cup, it's free! Now if it was just calorie free we'd really have something famous. @crypt-skip's favorite is the FoxTreat, which is vanilla custard covered with hot fudge, raspberries, and macadamia nuts.

Nice count and meal, cost of legal services is always too high and that is why loads of people here settle for gentle man agreement or abandon the whole thing altogether. I hope yours will be fast though. Cheers.

When it comes to insurance companies, I don't think there are any gentlemen, lol. I tried to settle with them myself for MONTHS and I guess they thought if they waited long enough I'd be desperate to get the medical bills paid and have to settle. I'm not in a very good frame of mind about the whole system. Thank goodness for Ted Drewes to save the day. 😎🍨

I hope they can arrange their schedules so you get a faster resolution. The wheels of justice turn slowly. I often wondered if it is because lawyers practice law instead of actually doing it!
