Chasing Pokémon
Well, today was supposed to be a rest day, but, you know, I just had to chase those Pokémon.
By which I mean kids, of course. I wonder why chasing kids isn’t an activity option on here yet.
When you were little, did you have a special game of tag that you liked to play, one which only the kids in your neighborhood knew about, or maybe even only the people in your family?
For the past two summers, my children have kept a preying mantis as a pet. Me being forever mischievous, I began chasing my kids around the house with my hands poised like a preying mantis’ and making what I think sounds like the noise of a mantis’ fluttering wings. This developed into a game of tag that is half hide and seek and half tickle torture. My children call it preying mantis tag.
Now anyone who comes to my house gets asked to play it and they’re all like, Wtf is preying mantis tag?
For you Actifitters out there, my answer for you today is preying mantis tag is an extra 4,000 steps;-)
That is the best kind of exercise...good for body AND soul!
Agreed! It’s fun, and fleeting.

Children just want to play,
Grow and learn during play,
Accompanied with the children to play with.
Big say : Baby - you were caught by me.
They definitely do, especially my son, from the minute he wakes up until he falls asleep: play, play, play, play.
