Prameniště. / Spring area.

V lese se může stát cokoliv. Ať je den nebo noc. Ať svítí slunce nebo prší. Kdo se chová tiše a ohleduplně, může zažít setkání zvláštního druhu.

Anything can happen in the forest. Be it day or night. Whether the sun is shining or raining. Those who behave quietly and considerably can experience a special kind of encounter.

He was approaching a small clearing. He treaded cautiously, because in such places they are holding up deer and wouldn't like to disturb them. The deer was not here, but he felt that his actions were being followed closely.
"Stop!" He heard a quiet but spirited challenge.
He paused in the middle of his walk and turned his head curiously behind his voice. He didn't see anyone.
"You stand on the spring, don't go further," the voice said again.
“Who's talking to me? Where are you? ”He answered with a question. He looked around in all directions, but he still didn't see anyone. Just at his feet he saw some rusty pool.

"Yes, a local stream starts to spring up here."
"I guess I have heat hallucinations," he thought.
"You don't, you just don't look right."
This was awkward. To see him with another man, he would probably think of some fools. But he knew for sure that no other man was here. He stopped looking around, closed his eyes for a moment, and opened them again. The voice did not pass through his hearing, but he sounded in his head. It's clear. There was a forest creature talking to him. He already knew what to do. He slowed his breathing and began to receive the energy sent by nature himself.

As he calmed down and tuned to the same energy of this place, he looked around again. He saw the creature that the voice belonged to.
"Thank you for the warning. Are you guarding here? '
"Just in the daytime. At night, Voděnka is in charge of the spring. Makes the grass a dam to clean the water before it goes on. When you come home, be careful. There's a bit of a roar to go down here and tread it a little. ”

"If you don't mind, I'll look around here a little. It's a beautiful place."
"Be careful. There are frogs in the stream below the spring.
"I'll be careful. And once again thank you, "he said to the guardian of the spring.

Blížil se k malé mýtině. Našlapoval opatrně, protože na takových místech se zdržují srny a nerad by je vyrušil. Srny zde nebyly, ale měl pocit, že jeho kroky někdo bedlivě sleduje.
„Stůj!“ zaslechl tichou, ale ráznou výzvu.
Zarazil se uprostřed chůze a zvědavě otočil hlavu za hlasem. Nikoho neviděl.
„Stojíš na prameništi, dále nechoď“, ozval se znovu hlas.
„Kdo to na mně mluví? Kde jsi?“ odpověděl otázkou. Rozhlížel se při tom na všechny strany, ale stále nikoho neviděl. Jen u svých nohou zahlédl nějakou rezavou kaluž.
„Ano, tady začíná pramenit místní potůček.“ pokračoval šumivě znějící záhadný hlas.
„Asi mám halucinace z horka,“ pomyslel si.
„Nemáš, jen se nedíváš správně.“
Tohle bylo na pováženou. Vidět ho při tom nějaký jiný člověk, asi by si myslel něco o bláznech. Věděl ale jistě, že zde žádný jiný člověk není. Přestal se rozhlížet, zavřel na chvíli oči a znovu je otevřel. Ten hlas neprošel jeho sluchem, ale zněl mu v hlavě. Je to jasné. Hovořila k němu nějaká lesní bytost. Už věděl, co má dělat. Zpomalil dýchání a začal přijímat energii, kterou mu posílala sama příroda.
Když se takto uklidnil a naladil na stejnou energii tohoto místa, znovu se rozhlédl. Spatřil bytost, které hlas patřil.

„Děkuji za varování. Ty to tady hlídáš?“
„Jen ve dne. V noci má prameniště na starost Voděnka. Dělá z trávy hrázky, aby se voda vyčistila než poteče dál. Až se budeš vracet domů, tak dávej pozor. Kousek odtud chodí pít srny a trochu to tam rozšlapaly.“
„Jestli ti to nevadí, tak se tady trochu rozhlédnu. Je to krásné místo.“

„Hlavně opatrně. V potůčku pod pramenem jsou žáby, tak ať nějaké neublížíš.“
„Dám pozor. A ještě jednou děkuji,“ rozloučil se se strážcem prameniště.
