My Actifit Report Card: January 13 2019

I took my normal Sunday rest day today and only walked around locally instead of going on my more ambitious normal route. I needed to stop by the store to pick up some things, so I didn’t go on my normal short walk route, but about half of that combined with a walk to the store. It was very foggy this morning, which made everything seem sort of desolate and spooky.

I was playing Pokémon Go and I finally hatched a Munchlax from a 7k egg. This was a bit of a deferred positive from yesterday’s Community Day, since that was the last egg I loaded into an incubator while the 4x hatch rate bonus was active.

When I got to the store area I was about to head back home thinking I had made a mistake about their hours of operation because it looked from a distance like it was closed since it was so dark and there was so little activity, but it turned out to be open after all so I got the items I intended to pick up.

On the way back I added in a little side-trek down a perpendicular street to my route because I wanted to make sure I’d get my full 10k steps for my #AutomaticWin of getting 10k steps before 10am. I’m glad I thought to check my count while I was still outside since I don’t like to achieve my step count by pacing indoors, and since my normal routes are engineered to give me more than 10k steps when I take them I’m not normally in the habit of checking while I’m still walking, usually my normal routine just takes care of everything (that’s part of the beauty of establishing a routine that works, you don’t need to think about it to get the results you want).

Walking
