My Actifit Report Card: June 8 2019
There’s currently an “Adventure Week” event running in Pokémon Go, but For the past few days I haven’t been getting to the big parks I like to visit to make the most of it (since there are more pokestops you tend to encounter more pokemon, which gives you a greater chance of getting the ones you’re after). So today I made an effort to head to Maurie Jacobs Park and the Owen Rose Garden even though I felt a strong temptation to take a shorter walk again. Temperature-wise it was down in the low 40s early in the morning, and there was a bit of fog.
One of the research quests I had from the event involved visiting some pokestops I hadn’t visited before, which is a bit tricky when following my normal walking route since I hit the stops near there every time I walk it. But I wanted to finish the quest so I took the path a little bit south of the rose garden and saw some unvisited stops in the Washington Jefferson Park, so I walked over there. It looks like there’s a skate park there, and some pretty nice art on the supports of the I-5 highway. But I only hung around long enough to snap some photos and spin the pokestops, and then I headed home back along the riverbank path.
Also, yesterday I claimed my airdrop of PALcoin. I haven’t really ever been a part of the “minnow support” community, but if I understand things correctly then posting with the “palnet” tag on any Steem interface, including things like DTube or Actifit, can enable a post to get PALcoin rewards in addition to whatever Steem/SBD awards it gets (if people with powered-up PALcoins upvote it). I’m not sure I care enough to try to dig into it and see if there’s more to it, but I figure it probably won't hurt to start adding the palnet tag to my posts and see if anything happens.
