showmeyourburger! My Actifit Report Card: April 11 2019.

Today we have a home grown, homemade hamburger showcase. This is a lamb-burger made from farm fresh ground lamb from my little brothers farm. Mixed into three pounds of the ground meat is a can of mushed up black beans, some worchestire sauce and a couple of eggs. The patty is resting on a bed of spinach and topped with cheddar cheese and a sliced dill pickle. But that's not all! The bun is also freshly baked by my mother in law. 🍔
We had some guests for dinner and everyone thought it was beef and went for seconds.

    We always mix canned beans into all of our ground meat recipes. Just rinse them and and run them through the food processor. The kids never know😎
