March 11, 2019 - Monday Blues
Today was Adelaide Cup. I don't know if in other countries that they make a major horse racing day a public holiday. Here in Australia, it is a public holiday.
Well, I enjoyed the last day of my long weekend. I slept in until 10 AM and watched TV until 3 PM. At 4 PM I went to school to set up some activities. One of the experiences I set up was a small world scene where children will find 10 bugs or insects. They can use a magnifying glass if they want to. Then they can also hide those bugs they find and challenge their peers to look for them. Or they can just engage in an imaginative play on their own or with their friends.
When I got home I hurriedly cooked Prawns Curry with Green Beans and Pumpkin. My husband is doing Lent fasting so he won't eat any dairy, meat and fish. So I had to cook something that he would be able to eat during this period.
Now I realised that Monday is nearly finished and I need to go to work tomorrow. I don't want my Monday or my weekend to end. I just want to stay at home and relax and rest.
