My Actifit Report Card: April 13 2019
Good evening everyone, how was your day? Hope you had as much fun as I had. Today, we had our yearly district youth games for the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Adenta district. There were a lot of games, unfortunately, I didn't personally take part in any. I was in charge of commentary for the football.
We played ludu, oware, and cards or spar. Ludu is a game which can be played between 2 to 4 people at a time. You all have 4 seeds from the start and your aim is to make sure that all 4 are able to complete a round trip on the game. I think I have to write a post to illustrate how it's played better.
Oware is also a Ghanaian game that can be played between 2 to 6 people at a time, but it's normally played between 2 people. There are holes of 12, and there are 4 marbles in each all. Who ever is able to make sure the have 4 marbles in a hole that belongs to them gets to keep the marbles. At the end, the person with the most marbles wins.
Card or Spar is played with the cards mostly used in casinos. It's normally played by 2 to 4 people. Each player gets 5 cards and whoever gets cards higher than everyone else at the end of that round wins.
There was football and volleyball which is quiet popular in most parts of the world. My church won the ludu and oware games, and were second in the volleyball. In football, my team, Lifeway Assemblies of God were crowned champions. In all, 13 teams participated in and it was a lot of fun. Was glad to be a part of it and hopefully, I will be available next year when it happens.
