Roadtrip! (My Actifit Report Card: August 9 2019)
Today was good day!
It all started with a 7 am wakeup call! It was time for our family trip to Galibi!
Galibi is a native village in the north eastern part of Suriname. It's on the banks of the Marowijne river which forms the border between Suriname and French Guyana.
This concludes my quick geographic recap 😂😂😂.
The trip itself went smoothly, it's about a 3 to 4 hour drive through different districts to get to Albina, followed by a 1.5 hour boat ride to get to the village.
We're pretty experienced in these trips and we've taken many together over the years! (Read: 25 years of trips!).
Each and every one has their own memories and I'm grateful to my mom (and aunt/uncle) for making this.... Tradition... For my sis, cousins and I!
