Djabièrnè (My Actifit Report Card: October 4 2019)
Djabièrnè of diabierne is Friday in Papiamentu!
Today was an interesting day.
The highlight was a "cousin day" organized by one of my cousins on my father's side. There is a big age cap between some of them so it turn out I haven't met them all (can you relate?).
So this particular cousin came with the initiative to just hang out at Caracasbaai...
Everyone brought something from drinks to snacks and we just spent a few hours getting to know one another. We all have different background and different stories.. It's interesting!
I truly appreciate those moments and it doesn't necessarily mean that we'll keep in contact everyday from now on but we now know who we are..
Afterwards 4 of us decided to continue 'the party" and went out for a few drinks. Good times!
