Is a hospital an office?

I laugh upon seeing my day activity record upon getting home as today was just an ordinary day at work. Were we busy? Kind of as it was a non-stop crossing-off my to-do list mentally for my patients throughout the day. And to think that mine were the most stable.

That's what last night's nurse in-charge thought. Sure, i wasn't at the emergency bay, with the acutely unwell. Nor was I carrying the bleep for the emergency admissions.

This shot was taken in the afternoon, it never was sunny, but at least the sky can be seen. Chances are, getting to work at 7am have no chance of seeing a bit of sunshine. More so that even though it's already spring, today has been the coldest day of the year so far for me.

Inside the hospital was worst, even one of my patients was wearing his winter coat. As for myself, i had goosebumps the whole afternoon till my 12-hours shift ended.

As a consolation, here are some random images taken on my way home.
