Beersaturday and Actifitting Report: April 13 2019
We had a bunch of errands to run today and before we could even start them, we got a call from some friends that they would be in town for lunch.
So we headed in to meet them for sandwiches and a little catching up. After that we headed out on our errands, found a geocache, did more errands, then headed home to take down our Christmas lights and do some yard work.
Dinner was ham sandwiches, chips and salsa, and beer- recently picked up a few new ones to try and Cali Creamin by Mother Earth Brewing turned out to be pretty good.
Earlier this week, on Thursday, I had a Coconut ColdSmoke from Kettlehouse Brewery. Also good and quite smooth. One of my favorites. And nice to sip on while knitting my towel project.
My helpers always appreciate it when I settle in for an evening of knitting-
Wednesday was a pretty Spring day and I enjoyed a Summer Honey from Bayern Brewing with dinner that evening.
Tonight Tiger was helping me do laundry! He NEVER gets into the dryer so this suprised the heck out of me. It took him some work as he couldn't quite figure out how to climb in and had to try 2 times.

So whats the the ammo box in the first picture painted like a cow or is that winter camo spray patterns?

We were working on a new puzzle cache and we keep a bunch of locks and puzzle cache stuff in that container. It is painted like a cow because it was used at the Western Montana Fair as an example geocache for a series we did for them. Folks had to find 3 containers in order to be entered to win rodeo tickets. It was a lot of fun.
We are building a complex multi-step puzzle cache for an event and it may end up re-used as a step in that one. Or be parted out and put to use elsewhere. The cow can is one of our favorite ones and always gets a laugh by finders.

Tiger is happy, Harley is accepting but never stays long once he decides join us as Tiger doesn't share the lap very well. If you have ever seen a video of a newly hatched Cuckoo bird pushing the other birds out of the nest... yeah... Tiger doesn't like sharing laps for too long.
