My Actifit Report Card: March 1 2019 - A walk in the snow
Today was a long work day, but I took the stairs to my floor of the office building a few times. It’s six flights of stairs, and I get a bit winded toward the top, but it’s great exercise and of course I get plenty of steps.
We had another snow storm today. It snowed for almost 12 hours. I almost couldn’t pull into my driveway. Fortunately it’s my husband’s job to clear it. Here’s a picture of him with the snow blower.
It was actually a beautiful night so we went walking around our neighborhood. We live on a loop, and the coolest thing is that each loop is almost exactly 1,000 steps. If I’m trying to hit a goal, I know exactly how many times I need to go around to hit the goal!
It has been terribly cold so much this winter that it hadn’t been great for walking. But tonight was beautiful! (Don’t judge by the driveway picture!)
I’ll be able to get new pictures tomorrow. The volume of snow now is really quite stunning this point!
